Nevada online poker licensee recruiting security and software development staff
After being widely touted as the first Nevada licensee likely to launch intrastate real money internet poker operations, South Point Poker is reportedly recruiting security and software development staff at present.
A subsidiary of Michael Gaughan's South Point land gambling group, South Point Poker LLC is currently seeking “poker investigators” in anticipation of a Fall launch, along with experienced software developers, graphic artists, blog writers and customer service reps and supervisors.
The Card Player online poker information site reports that as yet no official date has been announced for the commencement of real money operations, although the company has been running free-to-play poker for some months, using a software that it plans to replace with its own proprietary technology in time for real money action.
In a public statement this week Gaughan said: “We are recruiting the very best talent to join our new online gaming company. South Point Poker has allowed us to not only create jobs in Las Vegas but provide new and exciting career opportunities for Nevada’s economy.”
