Agreement with Hipodromo Camarero will make horseracing betting more convenient
 
Puerto Rico’s Hipodromo Camarero has signed up with the UK-based tote and pool sportsbetting provider Sportech to launch the island’s first online wagering site at Gana Donde Sea.com.
 
Punters at the San Juan-based racetrack will be offered a variety of wagers online including Pool-Pote, where customers place bets starting from as little as 35 cents as they go after a big-money progressive jackpot.
 
“GanaDondeSea.com is the only certified website to place bets in Puerto Rico and is authorised by the Horse Racing Board in its Resolution JH-11-31 of August 15, 2011,” said Ervin Rodriguez, CEO at Hipodromo Camarero.
 
“In Camarero, we are pleased to be able to offer to a new generation of customers in search of more convenience and flexibility the ability to wager live on the races.”
 
The two companies have a long-standing business relationship through track pari-mutuel services, systems and technology over the past 20 years.
