SuperLive Golf Launches

Friday July 18,2014 : A NEW WAY TO BET ON GOLF

Bonnier Gaming's Redbet the first with SuperLive Golf.

Metric Gaming's latest product, SuperLive Golf, will make its international debut this week in time for the PGA British Open, and Redbet, a sports betting site belonging to the Bonnier gambling group, will be the first carry it.

The new product follows the success of Metric's SuperLive Football, which enjoyed a surge of interest during the recently concluded World Cup football tournament.

SuperLive Golf delivers intense levels of match interaction to online punters, with up to four hundred wagers offered per round, a company statement claims.

Typically following select marquee groups, SuperLive provides wagering opportunities on a wide array of engaging markets, such as who will win the hole, total combined group score and individual player propositions, including stroke-by-stroke betting.

Mark Thorne, head of sports for Bonnier Gaming Malta Ltd, said Thursday that company subsidiary Redbet would deploy SuperLive Golf in time for the PGA British Open, encouraging sports fans to make full use of its many entertaining and engaging features.

His boss, Bonnier Gaming AB chief executive Andreas Ternström, goes even further, claiming:

“SuperLive will change the very complexion of the in-game wagering industry, becoming the new gold standard in live betting.  Today, live betting is almost never truly ‘live,’ as bettors must typically still wait for final match results before their wagers are graded.  SuperLive changes all of that – allowing in-game betting to finally reach its full potential.”

Metric plans to roll out further sports versions of SuperLive, says chairman Peter Bertilsson, who revealed that SuperLive Golf will debut in formats that make it available to desktop, mobile and tablet users.

Metric Gaming has offices in Sweden and the Isle of Man and was established in Las Vegas in 2011.
