Tabcorp : 20 percent growth in internet wagering turnover

20 percent growth in internet wagering turnover
 
The Australian gambling group Tabcorp has defied the slow economy to report first quarter revenue growth in its financial year across all divisions.
 
Underlining the strong first-quarter performance was a remarkable 20 percent growth in online wagering turnover, and 6.7 percent growth in the New South Wales wagering retail business.
 
”The continued revenue growth in Tabcorp's four divisions demonstrates that the investments to grow the business in each of its respective markets are being well executed,” said Tabcorp managing director David Attenborough in a statement to the Sydney Morning Herald.
