Initial investment of up to a million dollars planned for DFS software provider Fantasy Network.

The Mexican media house TV Azteca has announced its intention to invest in the daily fantasy sports market in Latin America through involvement with DFS software provider Fantasy Network.

The company is to make an initial investment of a million dollars in three tranches conditional on growth targets being met, and a further $10 million has been earmarked for marketing in the region over the next three years.

TV Azteca parent group ADM will also assist by organising licensing and ensuring that all legal and regulatory approvals are obtained from countries where the product will be launched to operators.
