Holland Casino CEO Forced to Resign

Thursday July 2,2015 : INTERIM CHIEF OF HOLLAND CASINO FORCED TO RESIGN

Admits mistakes in expense declarations.

Holland Casino’s interim chief executive officer Willem-Jan van den Dijssel will leave the company under a cloud for using his company credit card for personal expenses and making the repayments late.

van den Dijssel admitted to the oversight saying due to his negligence he would step down as of August 1, 2015.

Holland Casino’s Supervisory Board took pains to point out that van den Dijssel’s departure was not performance-based and that since his interim appointment in July 2013, the company had grown from strength to strength.

“Under his leadership, a successful restructuring was undertaken, which is now largely complete. Holland Casino profits again and looks positively to the future,” a board statement said.
