Frichet will not immediately be replaced as CEO – founders will manage the company.
 
The online poker executive who steered French online poker site Winamax through the introduction of the French dedicated market to become its leading cash game operation, Canel Frichet, departs the company next week for reasons that are not clear.
 
The site is at the peak of its performance in a troubled market, and Frichet has said only that she plans to take some downtime.
 
Her responsibilities will be taken over – at least initially – by the company's founders and management team, which comprises entrepreneur Marc Simoncini, entertainer and poker player Patrick Bruel and two other founders –  Alexandre Roos and Christophe Schaming.
