Winning Poker Network exits Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey

Wednesday May 14,2014 : WINNING POKER NETWORK EXITS U.S. REGULATED MARKETS

Regulatory options cited as reason for exit

The Winning Poker Network (WPN) has exited the regulated U.S. States of Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey.

Players in those States were sent notice from network skins True Poker, Black Chip Poker and Americas Cardroom advising the network's exit and citing "regulated options" as the reason for its decision.

"Our goal at Americas Cardroom is to build a poker community where players come first. But we also strive to play fairly. As a result, our network has decided to stop serving players in New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware due to the availability of a regulated poker market in those states," said Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris.

Players already accessing WPN who reside in the three states will have access to their accounts to close out their balances.
