Three-year official betting and gaming partner deal
 
Premier League football club Newcastle United FC (Newcastle) has become the second to sign heads of terms with WorldLink, following in Sunderland AFC's footsteps.
 
Worldlink will become Newcastle United's official betting and gaming partner for the start of the 2012/13 Premier League season, taking over from 12bet.com from August 6, 2012.
 
Under the terms of the three-year contract, Worldlink will provide dedicated online and mobile applications through its partnership with Bet Butler.
 
“I am delighted to welcome Worldlink as one of our key partners,” said Newcastle United’s managing director Derek Llambias. “Newcastle strive to work with blue chip companies across all commercial sectors and we see Worldlink as a key long term partner to bring enhanced betting services to our fans.”
 
Certain financial commitments would need to be met by Worldlink, as in the Sunderland deal.
