TWO NEW WPT TOURS


Venice and Vienna should prove big attractions
 
The World Poker Tour has announced the dates for two new televised tournaments in Europe in 2011 – WPT Venice and WPT Vienna – as well as the first WPT National Series Event.
 
WPT Venice, presented by Party Poker.it, will be televised and globally distributed by the WPT. Taking place at the luxurious Casino de Venezia between 3rd – 8th February 2011, the Main Event buy-in is set at Euro 3000 + Euro 300. The Euro 10,000 High Rollers takes place 7th – 9th February 2011. 
 
WPT Vienna, presented by Party Poker.com, will take place at the glamorous high end Montesino in the Austrian capital. The Euro 3,200+ Euro 300 Main Event will run from 25th – 29th March 2011, with a Euro 15,000 High Rollers running 28th – 30th March 2011. Both events will be televised and distributed as part of a package of 16 shows from international WPT events.
 
The WPT National Series: Paris will take place at Aviation Club de France. The Euro 5,000 Main Event takes place between 9th – 15th February 2011. A Euro 10,000 High Rollers is also scheduled to take place at France’s spiritual home of poker from 14th – 16th February 2011.  WPT National Series: Paris is the first of the newly announced WPT branded event series in Europe.

This week will see the start of the World Poker Tour Marrakech, Main Event presented by Chili Poker.com and overseen by WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage between 27th – 30th November 2010 at the idyllic Casino De Marrakech. There's a Euro 4,250 buy-in + Euro 750 fee including accommodation, breakfast and a dinner buffet.
