SNYDER WINNER OF FIRST MAIN EVENT OF NEW WSOP CIRCUIT SEASON

Pockets a cool $240,000.

The 2016/17 World Series of Poker Circuit’s (WSOP) first Main Event was won by Michigan poker pro Steven Snyder earlier this week.

Winning the event at Harrah’s Cherokee, Snyder became the first official entrant into the 2017 WSOP Global Casino Championship and took home a healthy $241,198 pay check and a WSOP Circuit gold ring.

The tournament attracted 804 entries with a total prize pool of $1,206,000, surpassing the $1,000,000 guarantee.

This win marks the largest in Snyder’s live tournament career to date.
