NYX Gaming acquires Zen Entertainment

Las Vegas-based Zen Entertainment develops poker software for the social gaming environment.
 
The NYX Gaming group has announced the acquisition of Las Vegas-based Zen Entertainment Inc., developers of poker software for the social gaming environment.
 
A company spokesman said Monday that the acquisition of Zen expands the NYX Gaming Group business, augmenting a worldwide footprint that now includes Europe, North America and Australasia.
 
"Zen’s competitive “play for free” software had already paid out millions in prizes prior to the acquisition," the spokesman said.
 
"In addition to the poker operations and software, NYX Gaming Group welcomes the excellent Zen staff to the growing business where they will join the groups’ Social Gaming division."
