New Mobile Gaming Technology Elray Mobile
Saturday April 6, 2013 : NEW MOBILE GAMBLING TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHED
A familiar name at the helm of Elray Mobile
Industry veterans will recognise a familiar name involved in the latest mobile gambling technology initiative in the market - Brian Goodman.
The Australian businessman was for several years an at times controversial online casino operator, owning RTG-powered internet venues like Giant Vegas, Kiss and Sierra, along with other ventures such as Knuts Poker and Lucky Lucy Bingo.
He was most notably involved in a bitter dispute with RealTime Gaming - KDMS International - Montana Overseas when the business relationship between operator and software provider turned sour and ended up on the civil court roll in Fulton County, Georgia, with a string of serious accusations levelled at the software provider and its reaction when the operator sought to sever the relationship.
The outcome of the 2005 case was never made public, triggering speculation that a settlement deal resolved the matter.
These days Goodman appears to have calmer business relationships through his Elray Gaming, an online gaming subsidiary of consulting and marketing parent Elray Resources which has entered the mobile gaming sector by launching a dedicated unit titled Elray Mobile.
The company's core task is to develop and acquire companies dealing with both free-play and mobile casino gambling technologies, both hot sectors in a market that promises to ignite as more US states legalise online gambling.
Elray is registered in several jurisdictions where online gambling is legally licensed, such as the UK, but is keen to benefit from American business should the politico-legal situation in the market there improve.
“With the industry naturally progressing towards mobile gaming, as seen recently with Zynga’s announcement to enter the online and mobile gaming sector, it only made sense for Elray Gaming to position itself as a player in the social gaming and mobile casino industry, and [we] will work to develop and acquire operating mobile gaming technology companies to expand [our] portfolio,” Goodman said this week in his capacity as chief executive of the company.
