Development from Cybertech and Connective Games
Russian software provider Connective Games LLC (Connective) and Asian software provider and operator Cybertech International Holdings (Cybertech) will begin building a new Asian gaming network it was announced this week, following news of their merger.
The new gaming network initiative has evolved through a natural fit between Cybertech's developed gaming infrastructure and Connective's gaming software and support offerings and will offer Asian players a range of popular traditional games such as Mahjong, Chinese poker, Badugi, Big 2 and Rummy.
Aniket Warty, chief executive officer of Cybertech International Holdings said, “The Asian market is undoubtedly one of the most exciting opportunities available to online operators. Since we established the company in 2007, we have invested a lot of time, research and expertise to become the leading innovator of poker and other games for the Asian market including a prolific poker network. We are absolutely delighted to offer a combined product solution with Connective Games and extend our service offering to a wider gaming market.”
On the merger, Konstantin Zubarev, chief executive officer of Connective Games said, “Cybertech is one of the largest Asian facing poker and games software providers. The company has fully immersed itself within the rapidly evolving world of technology and social media, ensuring that its games are available within online card rooms, social networking sites and mobile applications to PC cafés and airlines. We are absolutely delighted that the company’s expertise will allow us to offer our customers an opportunity to broaden their own market reach whilst maintaining our usual high standard of game development that we are known for.”
The news of the merger follows Connective Games actively seeking new partnerships to forward its Asian development strategy dating back to October 2009.
Further details on the structure of the merger were not disclosed.
