66 defendants in court for 188bet Bust

2013 bust culminates in this week’s court appearance.

Vietnam News Service (VNS) reports the appearance of 66 defendants before The People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City for their alleged involvement in illegal online gambling and 188bet.com

Gambling ring boss Vuong Chan Thanh (39), the director of Vien Tin International Telecommunications Ltd. Co., is alleged to have headed up the operation which is thought to have processed over $18 million in wagers.

The trial is expected to run until the end of this week.
