Unibet Sponsors 2014 British Poker Awards

Gambling company reinforces its online poker presence.
 
The European online gambling group Unibet has announced that it is to strengthen its stand-alone online poker presence by signing as the headline sponsor for the 2014 British Poker Awards.
 
Other sponsors of the event include companies like Bluff magazine, Poker Strategy and Poker News.
 
Unibet's head of poker operations, Martin Stalros, said this week that Unibet was pleased with the sponsorship deal, pointing out that the UK is his company's fastest growing poker market, and that the BPA represents a good opportunity to become more closely involved.
 
“The BPA is something we look out for at the start of each year and I think most British players would agree that it’s the most important annual awards we have for poker," Stalros said.
 
"It also happens to be the most entertaining, and we’ll be doing our best to make sure that can still be said for at least another year!” he added.
