VEIKKAUS RENEWS SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

Two-year extension on existing contract
 
Finnish state-owned gaming operator Veikkaus extended its sponsorship deal for an additional two year term with Finland’s Football Association this week.
 
The deal incorporates the national team, premier (Veikkausliiga), first and second division leagues and will see funds channeled to the further development of football in Finland.
 
President of the Veikkausliiga, Lasse Lehtinen said "Continuity is very important; it can be designed on the basis of things to come. This agreement is very important to Veikkausliiga activity."
