AEDAPI WELCOMES EXTENDED TRANSITIONAL PERIOD

01/02/2012 : Government commended for taking its time on adopting practices for newly regulated market
 
The announcement by the Spanish Government granting a 6 month extension to as yet unlicensed online poker providers operating in the country has been welcomed by Spanish Trade Association AEDAPI.
 
The Association supports a comprehensive, well thought out and properly planned and implemented licencing process that it says should be unrushed to ensure a fully competitive and regulated market beneficial to all stake holders.
 
All decisions taken going forward will be key to achieving a successful internet market said an AEDAPI spokesperson.
