SPONSORSHIP DEAL BETWEEN BETFRED AND RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB

Independent sports betting firm BetFred will be sponsoring Salford City Reds rugby Football Club for the 2011 season in a deal announced this week.
 
BetFred's sponsorship will see its logo displayed on the roof of the team's "Popular Stand".  The stand, known as "The Shed" dates back to the 1900's and runs down one wing of the pitch at The Willows ground in Salford.
 
“I’m proud to be from Salford and I’m proud to support the Salford City Reds in its 110th and final year at The Willows,” said Fred Done from BetFred.
 
“It will be emotional when rugby league moves from this famous old ground but I have been very impressed with John Wilkinson’s vision of the future and the new stadium. I am very proud to have my company’s name on ‘The Shed’ in its final season.”
 
“Salford City Reds has enjoyed its 110 years at The Willows and my sincere thank you to Fred Done for a fitting tribute in his sponsorship of ‘The Shed’,” said John Wilkinson, Chairman for the Salford City Reds.
