Betvictor Devoloping Sport Tv Channel

Thursday April 10,2014 :  MANCHESTER FIRM HELPS BETVICTOR DEVELOP SPORTS TV CHANNEL

Gibraltar-based online gambling firm will broadcast sporting events, video tips and adverts using Skylab’s MediaTank platform.

Manchester-based television and digital technology specialist Skylab reports that BetVictor's new sports television channel is efficiently using its Media Tank platform to broadcast a range of sports events, betting tips and promotional material for horse racing and snooker.

The MediaTank video platform allows any brand, any business or any content owner to become a broadcaster and deliver HD video to an online audience from its own existing website, with the operator in control of content. MediaTank is a highly effective yet simple to use platform, putting the business owner in control of their content.

Michael Carlton, CEO BetVictor said earlier this week:  “Video advertising is a proven way to increase response rates, and recently BetVictor has teamed with Skylab to showcase our video-on-demand solution, paving the way across Sportsbook and Live Casino products. BV TV is already producing firm results with increased site visits alongside strong social media integration.

"In the future we are aiming to stream live events, allowing customers to watch and bet from the video page. Skylab has pioneered this technology for BetVictor, coping with high demands and 24/7 support."

Skylab chief Nigel Collier said his company has been working on the television channel concept with BetVictor for some months.

"The project is a combination of Skylab’s digital strategy with the MediaTank video platform. This is just the beginning of a journey to explore the full potential of online video within the gaming industry," he said.

Skylab has an award winning heritage including a BAFTA Award plus two further BAFTA nominations. The company's contracts work includes work with major UK companies and organisations such as the Home Office, the BBC, British Swimming, ITN and Manchester United.
