Bodog Poker's intention in removing user names of players on its new software was to make the environment more "fish-friendly" at the expense of the data mining software developers and expert players, but it may have backfired.

Within days of the launch of the new software hacks were being announced on Youtube at:

The veracity of the hacking claims has yet to be confirmed, and when InfoPowa went to press there had been no comment from Bodog.

Earlier this week claims that the new software did not allow problem players to self-exclude were speedily addressed by a Bodog spokesperson, who said that the company's software developers were addressing the shortcoming.
