WSOP-branded online poker offering ready, says Caesars Interactive
 
Caesars Interactive Entertainment, the online arm of Caesars Entertainment Corp., was recommend by the Nevada State Gaming Control Board  for the award of an online poker licence today .
 
A licence could be awarded before year-end following approval by the Nevada Gaming Commission who, in the next step of the process, is scheduled to assess the GCB's recommendation on December 20.
 
Caesars will launch a World Series of Poker-branded online poker offering in partnership with 888 Holdings LLC Plc subsequent to 888 too being awarded Nevada licencing (see previous InfoPowa report).
 
“Once 888 is licensed, the intent is to go live in Nevada at that moment,” said Mitch Garber, chief executive officer of Caesars Interactive Entertainment.
