CAKE GETS HIT FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE

Initial Cake Gaming contributors go to court

Ryan Bennett and Francois Piette have alleged that they developed groundbreaking concepts that were shared with the principals of Yummy Interactive, who went on to found the Cake Poker Network.

Bennett and Piette further claim that they were guaranteed a 20 percent share in any resulting company in exchange for their ideas and marketing expertise but were shown the door with very little to show for their efforts in the way of compensation due under agreement.

Poker Scout.com reports that the pair have consequently filed suit in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada and are requesting their 20 percent share, damages for breach of contract, misrepresentation and conspiracy against Cake Gaming.

Six separate Cake entities, two Yummy Interactive companies and eight principals behind Cake Poker are named as defendants in the suit.
