CasinoJack Trailer

4/21/10 – After months of speculation, the new movie featuring the life and times of infamous US lobbyist Jack Abramoff seems to be gaining momentum, with the release this week of a trailer for the production on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QX6UiFOr8uM.
 
Abramoff's activities in influencing US political opinion have recently been the subject of a Republican memo urging politicians to vote against online gambling legalization  yet strangely the trailer for "Casino Jack" barely mentions the online industry, apparently focusing on the multi-millions involved in Abramoff's involvement with Indian tribal land casinos.
 
Abramoff, at the time of the scandal one of Washington DC's most influential lobbyists, along with some of his associates, received jailtime for the manner in which they conducted their political efforts, and there were political casualties in the resultant fall-out, too. The trailer showcases a what looks likely to be an informative as well as entertaining movie.
