Posted 2/10/11 : New program will open up opportunities for affiliate marketers
A well-established Microgaming-powered online casino group, Playshare, will soon engage with the Casino Rewards program for the affiliate marketing of its Casino Share, Grand Mondial, Players Palace and Quatro Casino properties.
Casino Rewards is a major Australian-based online gambling group, and it is at present not known whether there are implications in the deal that run deeper than affiliate marketing. At press time, Playshare had not yet responded to InfoPowa enquiries regarding the deal.
A manager of Rewards Affiliates made the following announcement Thursday regarding the agreement between the two groups:
"Casino Rewards/Rewards Affiliates is proud to announce that the Playshare group (Casino Share, Quatro Casino, Player's Palace and Grand Mondial) will be joining the Casino Rewards network.
"Over the next week we will be starting the integration of the systems on the affiliate side. All existing players will be transferred over to the Rewards Affiliates system and you will continue to get paid for all players you have sent to Playshare Partners in the past.
"All player balances will be transferred over and we have increased our call centre shifts around to clock to make sure that the transition for players is as smooth as possible.
We will be sending individual emails to affiliates about changing of their linking codes and will allow a grace period whereby both old Playshare linking codes and/or the new Rewards Affiliates linking codes will work."
Casinos have been sold to Aussie group
More details have now been obtained from reliable sources that the Casino Rewards and Playshare Partners agreement is more than just a switch of affiliate programs.
The sources disclosed, and subsequent media releases and player communications appear to confirm this, that Casino Share, Grand Mondial, Players Palace and Quatro Casino have in fact been sold to the parent company of Casino Rewards, although details of the reasons for the sale and the financial arrangements are not known.
Shortly after the announcement of affiliate changes appeared on affiliate message boards earlier today (Thursday) a media release from Casino Rewards appeared with wording that strongly suggested the agreement involved an acquisition and not simply a change of marketing arrangements. This was followed by reports from players, who received the following Casino Rewards communication:
"Casino Share, Grand Mondial and Quatro Casino will be joining the renowned Casino Rewards Group and as a result, you will receive instant membership.
"As a member you will enjoy all the benefits and security that comes from being associated with online gambling’s largest and most reputable casino group.
"With a 24/7 Multi-lingual Support team, on-going promotions and guaranteed fast, secure transactions both in and out of the casino…you will find that playing online has never been easier or more enjoyable.
"You needn’t worry about your existing casino accounts and balances, as all details are in the process of being transferred over.
"You can expect this to be completed within 48 hours and should you have any concerns, contact our friendly Support Centre who are on-hand and ready to answer all your queries."
The media release included the following phrases:
"CasinoRewards.com has added another 3 prestigious online casinos to its family. The elegant and stylish Grand Mondial, the glamorous Quatro Casino and the ‘most generous casino on the net' Casino Share have joined the 19 other award winning online casinos at CasinoRewards.com."
"We are delighted to have 3 immensely popular online casinos join our group. Existing players at each casino will be well looked after under the CasinoRewards.com brand, and will benefit immediately from regular promotions and giveaways."
"With the addition of 3 well established, high quality online casinos to its all-star lineup, CasinoRewards.com guarantees its position as the first choice for players across the globe."
