ADDITIONAL SECURITY MEASURE PRESENTED BY CEREUS POKER NETWORK

Security token enables online poker players to add an extra layer of user authentification

The past cheating and encryption scandals at the CEREUS Poker Network  have made the poker industry considerably more security conscious and evidence of this is perhaps highlighted in a recent statement from UB.com and Absolute Poker.

The introduction of another layer of security will enable online poker players across the CEREUS Network to strengthen their personal security by adding an extra layer of user authentification.

The Security Token is a small electronic device that once activated and tied to an account will require a player to use both their password and to have the physical device at hand and is available for purchase through UB.com and Absolute Poker's loyalty programme rewards stores.

Additionally, a new Security menu at UB.com and Absolute Poker features a SecureID PIN option – a five digit number chosen by the player.  The SecureID PIN would be requested after the account holder has followed the usual log-in procedure.
