Focus on European opportunities and product development

B2B mobile gaming platform provider Nektan has announced the appointment of David Gosen as chief executive officer with immediate effect.

Gosen has assumed responsibility of the group’s day-to-day operations while implementing short and long term strategies to propel the company forward.

He will focus particularly on European expansion opportunities as well as product development, while executive chairman Gary Shaw will take responsibility for new market expansion and strategic partnerships.

Prior to this appointment, Gosen served as European Managing Director, Media, Digital and Mobile for global information and measurement company Nielsen.

He has also held executive positions with Xbox Europe as vice president, Nintendo Europe as managing director and I-Play as president.

David joins the business at a pivotal time now Nektan has become a publically listed company and continues to establish itself as the leader in the real money gambling mobile marketplace, a Nektan statement said.
