Online Club Cash Games seeks to discourage sharks
Rob Yong, owner of the UK land and online poker operator Dusk Til Dawn, is a man of his word, implementing recommendations to improve the recreational poker environment he made on his blog recently in a new DTD initiative.
Yong has launched Online Club Cash Games, where the tables are open only to DTD club members and protected by new rules designed to improve the recreational playing experience.
These include a ban on online poker tracking software often used by professionals to gain an advantage over less experienced players; doing away with heads-up 4 and 6 max tables; minimum buy-in levels raised; the restriction of multi-tabling facilities to just two tables; and new rules designed to improve table and chat etiquette and behaviour.
