Gilligan went home as the runner up with Euro 73,650 in prize money, rayther more profitably repeating his 2010 experience, when he exited the UKIPT Dublin derby in second place for Euro 43,400.

Canadian pro Nick Abou Risk was the hard luck story of the day, exiting his third UKIPT final table without a win, although his seventh placing earned him Euro 14,700.
