Epic Poker League Already for sale

Rumours of strained financial resources as Pinnacle considers acquisition
 
Several usually reliable poker information sites started carrying an interesting story on the recently formed Epic Poker League Wednesday, claiming that the professional poker body is taking some financial strain and is in acquisition talks with Pinnacle Enterainment.
 
Some sources suggest that a deal could be concluded within the next two months, and point to the postponement of a scheduled Epic tournament as possible evidence of future changes in progress.
 
Apparently members of Pinnacle management have past associations with leading figures in the League and common backgrounds involving the World Series of Poker, and these friendships and contacts have been maintained.
 
However, to date none of the stories have been confirmed by either Pinnacle or Epic; Pinnacle did not respond to enquiries, and Annie Duke at Epic declined to comment.
