Gala Coral New Customer Service Training

Tuesday August 9,2011 : New video will be used to train staff

The Gala Coral online and land gambling group in Britain is to up its game on the staff-customer interface using a new video produced by The MacLagan Men company in Stoke.

Filmed at the group's Golden Horseshoe flagship casino in London, the 20-minute video uses the "point-of-view" technique made famous by the Channel 4 hit series Peep Show, demonstrating  customer-staff service scenarios played out in two ways – one handled badly and the other handled well.

It will be shown to all staff in the group who have interaction with players among their responsibilities.

Gala Casino managing director Mark Sergeant said: "In a training environment, no other tool can demonstrate what good and bad looks like as effectively as a film."
