Genera Networks has signed up the first lottery operator for its regulated bingo network. The Swedish licensed lottery A-lotterierna will be provided with a complete interactive platform including bingo, instant games and online versions of the successful scratch card brands Femman and Glädjelotten, Genera revealed in a statement this week.

Jan Stocklassa, CEO of Genera Networks said, “A-lotterierna has been a trusted lottery in Sweden since 1956 and for them to choose us as their partner confirms our dedication to provide the best solutions for regulated operators.”

The four-year deal adds several new products to the portfolio of A-lotterierna. The lottery operator will aim to draw on the success of Kombilotteriet to expand sales through a new channel.

“By co-operating with Genera Networks and Microgaming Software Systems we have the possibility to offer our customers unique bingo solutions for the regulated Swedish market. The system also gives us good prerequisites to work with consumer protection, which is an obvious choice for us owned by a popular movement”, said Anders Jansson, CEO of A-lotterierna.

A-lotterierna is set to launch its online new gaming site early in 2012 and will become the first operator to use Genera’s BingoFair product, a new bingo initiative Genera will expand into a full network of regulated operators. Genera Networks is co-operating with Microgaming as its technology partner for this deal.

“BingoFair allows regulated operators to challenge cross-border competitors by creating larger prize pools, more variety in game play and a range of jackpot possibilities that are impossible to create as a stand-alone operator”, says Maria Sandell, COO of Genera Networks.
