HEADSUP ACQUIRES FANLOGIC

Ticks boxes for online gambling sector expansion strategy.

Calgary-based HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc. (HeadsUp) has acquired the assets of daily fantasy sports, eSports and social gamification platform provider FanLogic LLC.

The acquisition forms part of HeadsUp’s global expansion initiative into the sports, eSports, poker and social gaming sectors and is expected to generate revenue through marketing contracts with major brand partners, sports teams, charities and direct user engagement, the company said. 

Through the Asset Contribution Agreement, HeadsUp issued 60 million restricted shares at a price of $0.06 per share as consideration for the technology, infrastructure and management team of Fanlogic.

HeadsUp is engaged in the creation of branded entertainment through the development, production and marketing of televised programming based on poker and other entertainment themes.
