Focus on online, mobile and social game development
American game developer High 5 Games (H5G) has announced the development of a social subsidiary that will focus on the development of games for the online, mobile and social markets.
Existing games from H5G that include land-based and in-development games will debut on a selection of social networks such as Facebook in the coming months.
The developer of the popular land-based titles Golden Goddess and Black Widow as well as Cats, Figaro and Wild Orchid will additionally target regulated internet gaming markets in Europe with games that have already launched online such as Da Vinci Diamonds, Noah's Ark, Pixies Forest, Golden Odyssey and The Prince of Lightening.
“The social market represents a great area of potential growth for our company,” said Med Nadooshan, chief operating officer of H5G. “It’s an excellent medium to directly engage with our players and to build large audiences that our land-based partners will be able to utilize when they implement our brands in their casinos.”
Anthony Singer, chief executive officer of H5G, added: “The casino genre is one of the fastest growing areas in social gaming.  We believe our proven content will do very well in this space.”
