Now Saratoga Gaming and Raceway has launched an online betting site.
 
Yet another US horseracing company, the harness racing firm Saratoga Gaming And Raceway, has launched into the online betting environment, taking advantage of federal legislative carve-outs to set up SaratogaBets.com.
 
The upstate New York track's website allows account holders to wager on pari-mutuel racing over the Internet and has been designed to complement its 1,700-machine racino video gaming facility, which opened in early-2004.
 
“We are very excited to be able to offer this convenient option to our guests,” said John Matarazzo, racing operations director for Saratoga Gaming and Raceway. “They can now enjoy the flexibility of wagering on tracks across the country from here on-property, right in their own home or remotely from wherever they might be.”
