Howard Lederer continues to widely protest ignorance and innocence

Following up on his Poker News vid interviews, Lederer continues to widely protest ignorance and innocence

Former Full Tilt Poker president Howard Lederer has continued to attract comment this week by following his widely publicised video interviews with Poker News with a series of interviews on industry podcasts and other open media channels.

The tenor and content of these appears to be much of the same, with some interesting nuggets of information on the "behind the scenes" management decisions at FTP throughout the 15 month crisis, but a remarkable number of admissions on various issues that Lederer was not in the loop on some decisions by CEO Ray Bitar and money man Nelson Burtnick.

Lederer continues to proclaim that his main interest lies in seeing players made whole again – something that is now happening for non-US players through the Pokerstars acquisition, whilst US players still await instructions from the Department of Justice

But he is facing a growing volume of criticism over FTP's repeated and public post-Black Friday assurances to players that their funds were safe and secure, when the former management of the troubled company allegedly knew it did not have the funds to cover these amounts.
