REDBET ACQUIRES I4POKER

Swedish online gaming operator Redbet Holding AB's Malta-licenced subsidiary Redbet Gaming Ltd announced the acquisition of i4poker through an asset transaction this week.  The worth of the deal is undisclosed.
 
i4poker.com is a gaming site previously owned by i4bet Ltd and operated by Entraction that focuses on the Eastern European market.
 
Jorgen Andersson, CEO of Redbet Holding AB said:  "Through the acquisition of i4poker, Redbet strengthens its position in Eastern Europe, especially in Poland, Hungary, and Bulgaria.
 
"The acquisition is part of Redbet’s expansion strategy and the ongoing consolidation in the gaming industry opens up opportunities for Redbet to grow faster."
 
Redbet Holding AB is the Swedish parent company in a group comprising subsidiaries Redbet Gaming Ltd and Red Sports Ltd based in Malta, and SIA Optibet based in Latvia.
 
Redbet Gaming Ltd offers poker, casino, live casino and sports betting through a number of websites, including www.redbet.com, www.whitebet.com, and www.totalpoker.com while Red Sports Ltd operates www.goldclubcasino.com.  Latvia-based SIA Optibet operates retail bookmaking and online gaming in Latvia through its Optibet betting shops and online through www.optibet.com.
