Iceland Tries To Regulate Gambling again


Tuesday September 15,2015 :  ICELANDIC POLITICIANS TRY FOR LEGALISATION FOR A THIRD TIME

Backed by a dozen MP’s across political spectrum.

Twelve politicians have backed a proposal submitted to the Alþingi, Iceland’s Parliament, by Willum Þór Þórsson of the Progressive Partyoutlining a general legal framework for the regulation of gambling.

This is the third bid which if adopted would regulate advertising, implement a licensing system and tax regime along with the introduction of problem gambling mechanisms.
