Viktor Blom on one of his heaters

January 3, 2013 : GOOD POKER RUN FOR ISILDUR1

Viktor Blom on one of his heaters

The mercurial young Swedish poker ace Viktor Isildur1 Blom embarked on one of his heaters this week, tearing up the opposition to emerge from one 1,536-hand session and take home almost $565,000.

Playing PLO and 2-7 Triple Draw at bets as high as $1,500/$3,000 on the Full Tilt Poker virtual tables, Blom demolished some quality opposition that included main ‘donator' Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn.

Given the roller coaster nature of Blom's big and bold style of play, the railbirds are now waiting to see if continued highs are on the menu, or whether a swoop downwards is imminent.

Blom's big bank booster made otherwise significant pay days pale by comparison, but the High Stakes Database reports that Ben Sulsky (the biggest Pokerstars earner last year) Alex Luneau aka Alexonmoon and Erik Sagestrom were also six-figure winners in the $100,000 area in sessions on Full Tilt this week.
