Jungleman12 has 7 Million on Fulltilt Poker

Thursday August 2,2012 :  HERE'S ONE POKER PRO WHO WILL BE HAPPY ABOUT THE F.T.P. SETTLEMENT (Update)

Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates was out $7 million

The news Tuesday that Pokerstars is to acquire Full Tilt Poker and reimburse players owed for over 15 months will have been especially welcome to one professional player.

The formidable nosebleed tables ace Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates told CardPlayer Wednesday that he was up $7 million on the site between fall 2009 and Black Friday on April 15, 2011, and that 80 percent of his bankroll had been locked up in the Black Friday shuttering.

Cates (22) currently lives in the UK due to the legal problems associated with online poker in the United States, and says the Justice Department shutdown not only locked up much of his bankroll, but slowed his momentum on the virtual high stakes tables at Full Tilt, where he was enjoying significant success.

He looks forward to the day when he can again play online at a legal poker site in the country of his birth.
