An internet cafe operator raided early August has re-opened and challenged the validity of police actions on gambling
 
The owner of internet cafe operation Liberty PCS in Gilroy, California is defying local and state enforcement authorities on gambling allegations, re-opening his enterprise this week after being shut down by police raids early in August .
 
Liberty PCS has in addition thrown down the gauntlet on officials, filing a lawsuit against the City, state Attorney General officials and the Department of Justice.
 
The business’s District Manager Harry Frank says he intends to fight for his First Amendment rights to stay open.
 
California has in recent months stepped up local raids on internet cafes accused of offering online gambling, serving search warrants, seizing equipment and cash and shutting down premises.
