Malmo will be the first Swedish dedicated eSports stadium experience.

Tomas Lyckedal, the business development director for eSports organiser DreamHack, has announced that the DreamHack Masters CounterStrike: Global Offensive tournament will take place in Malmö, giving Swedish and Danish eSports fans the opportunity to enjoy the first dedicated stadium experience for the game.

DreamHack has previously announced two $250,000 CounterStrike: Global Offensive tournaments for 2016, titled DreamHack Masters events. The new tournaments bring to a million dollars the DreamHack investment in these tournaments for this year.

The Malmo Arena accommodates 15,500 spectators and is expected to sell-out for the April 16-17 event, in which 16 talented teams will compete.
