BetFred launches new app

UK Bookmaker Betfred and Fantasy iTeam have entered into a 12-month partnership for a new fantasy football manager app.
 
Fantasy iTeam is a mobile football manager game for the English Premier League, available for download at the Apple app store and is accessed and managed via Apple iPhone, iPod or iPad.
 
Players compete against each other, former players and celebrities with the app featuring live scoring, head to head challenges, integrated betting through Betfred, social networking and prize competitions.
 
Mark Pearson, Head of Media, Betfred said: "The beauty of this new app is that you can manage your team anywhere now and you can also have a little punt on the football. We are also incorporating social media to encourage banter which is what football is all about."
 
Fantasy iTeam Founder and Director Adam Patten commented: "The Fantasy iTeam app was developed solely with the mobile user in mind, so we are delighted to partner with Betfred who are focusing heavily on development of new smartphone customers."
 
In related news, Betfred has become the sponsor of  two races on Ladies Day held at Glorious Goodwood, a highlight on the British flat racing calendar beginning today (Tuesday).
