Oliver Speidel Wins 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event

Melbourne-local earns second consecutive title
Defending 2011 main event title holder Oliver Speidel (26) has taken down the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event pocketing the biggest cash of his career A$ 1 600 000 in his second consecutive main event win.
The Melbourne local entered into heads-up with a commanding chip lead of 4-1 against Kenneth Wong taking down the event on the sixth bet of play.
“Kenny is a really tough player. I was really lucky against him.  I’m glad I didn’t really have to make some really hard decisions because it was over so quickly,” said Speidel
Showing his delight at the win Speidel jumped on the table, lay on his back and rubbed wads of his newly won cash over his body, much to the amusement of the crowd.
