Not-for-profit operator debuts poker offering with unique features

Finnish not-for-profit gaming operator, PAF has gone live on the MPN, formerly Microgaming Poker Networl,  through its Paf Heart Poker brand. Check it out here.

The new offer allows players to link directly to the tables from the website, thus bypassing the lobby utilising a beginner-friendly interface. Customers also have access to the traditional advanced lobby, as well as to all the promotions and unique game features available on the MPN that include the Risk Free WSOP qualifiers and the newly launched Heads Up 8 Man Blaze tables .

“At Paf we love poker! Naturally we are delighted to go live with our Heart Poker room”, said Herbert Paradis, Head of Poker at Paf. “With our unique integration, beginner players have an entirely new player journey, as we can direct them to cash game tables and tournaments with a single click. Together with Microgaming, we have solved the problem of poker lobbies being too complex for beginners to navigate.”

The Åland Island-licenced operator was founded in 1966 by a group of charities and donates all of its profits to good causes. To date, the company has raised over Euro 174 million; in 2012 alone it donated Euro 20 million in grants to various projects including health, social and cultural activities.

Lydia Melton, Head of Network Games at Microgaming, comments: “This was one of the most interesting integrations we have worked on. Paf have a very clear vision, and we have been working closely with them in building a truly unique offering. We are all very excited to see the player uptake.”
