In his latest session, the famous Finn was up $741 000, with the main contributor to his bank balance fellow Finn Ilarie Sahamies, who lost some $468 000 to his countryman playing Pot Limit Omaha.

Antonius went on to relieve Phil Galfond of a further $80 000 and won over $200 000 playing mixed games with Gus Hansen. For the latter it was a bad session generally, with the Great Dane ending the night down more than $488 000 – mainly to Sahamies – over almost 2 650 hands. It effectively wiped out the gains he made earlier in the week, leaving him with losses of almost $3 million over this year so far.

Biggest pot of the night – at $276 000 – was on the $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha tables in a clash between Sahamies and Antonius, which the latter won.

Other big winners in the nosebleed sessions were Phil Ivey and Brian Hastings, who left the site up around $200 000 apiece.
