In a brief regulatory advisory to the stock exchange Friday, online gambling software provider Playtech and internet gambling group William Hill plc informed interested parties:
 
"William Hill PLC (William Hill) confirms that, following a return court hearing on Thursday 17 March, an injunction is in place preventing Playtech from selling its stake in William Hill Online.
 
"This injunction will remain in place until a further court hearing which is expected to occur in May or shortly thereafter."
 
The injunction was obtained by William Hill earlier this month following reports that Playtech and Ladbrokes were involved in business negotiations.
