Perform Renews Premier League Deals

PERFORM RENEWS PREMIER LEAGUE DATA DEAL

And clinches another with United Soccer League North America.

English Premier League, EFL and Scottish Professional Football League official match data manager Football DataCo has renewed its exclusive contract with Perform Group for an additional three years.

Under the terms of the deal, Perform’s Opta and RunningBall will continue to operate as the official media and betting data partners of the eight professional leagues and associated competitions covered by Football DataCo, with exclusive global distribution rights.

Perform is on a hot streak, having clinched a three-year deal just last week with United Soccer League (USL), the largest professional soccer organisation under Major League Soccer in North America.

The Official Data Partnership will debut at the 2016 USL Championship later this month.

Opta will manage and deliver statistical analysis for all USL matches, including regular season, playoffs and championship games.  The data will be available to fans on the USL website, featuring new match centers utilizing Opta’s widget technology.  USL teams will also have the ability to integrate Opta data into its own websites and enhance the experience for fans.
