What is PROTEKTOR?

PROTEKTOR is a new sports betting feature with which you can insure your stake against a certain amount of lost picks in your Multi bet, e.g. You could lose some picks in a Multi bet and still get your stake back.

PROTEKTOR is only available for pre-event Multi bets (in certain betting markets). The PROTEKTOR feature is displayed in the ‘Multi bets’ section of the bet slip.

You can choose to insure any number of picks on your Multi bet with a maximum of one less than the total amount of picks. For example, if your Multi bet consists of 5 picks, you could potentially insure up to 4 of them.

The cost of PROTEKTOR is defined by the odds of the Multi bet, the stake and the number of picks you choose to insure.

Customers are not able to select PROTEKTOR with any bonus funds or with any FreeBets.

At the moment, it’s only possible to use this feature for your desktop. Soon it will be available for our bwin Sports apps as well.

Due to domestic Czech reasons, BET GUARD is the brand name of PROTEKTOR in the Czech language. This means that if one selects ‘Czech’ as a preferred language on the website, they will see BET GUARD instead of PROTEKTOR as the name of our new feature.
