DECK MEDIA REASSURES AFFILIATES ON U.S. GAMBLING CHANGES
Sunday August 7,2011 : Slotocash and Desert Night online casinos affected by decision
The decision by online gambling software provider Rival Gaming to restrict new player action by US players has affiliate marketing management programs scampering to reassure their affiliates and put new arrangements in place.
Following a software switch to Top Game by AffiliateWide casinos last week, the Deck Media NV affiliate program, which handles affiliate marketing management for the Slotocash and Desert Night internet casinos, has been in contact with its affiliates.
The communication advises that effective August 7, Rival will no longer permit the sign-up of new US players, but that it is important to know that existing players will remain active.
"We already have a plan of action to keep [existing players] depositing and earning you commission," the email reads. "We invite you to subscribe to our revamped weekly newsletters so you can stay tuned to all retention and conversion campaigns we are running for your active players and new potential customers.
"This is a valuable source of information and if used properly, it could potentially give us both better player value and profits long term.
"Following up on our previous email we are making some exciting changes in the next month, including new live support that will be up and running, plus we will have exciting news coming out soon."
Earlier this year Deck Media NV was at the centre of a swirling argument with its affiliates over unpaid commissions after the program advised:
"Unfortunately we have lost GATM eCheck processor. This was a major processor for Deckmedia and a lot of money is owed to us by Echeck which appears to be lost at this stage.
"In the past Deckmedia have taken huge loses upon us to ensure that affiliates have not lost out in such circumstances. For example, when Deckmedia lost Ewalletxpress and Mastercard, Deckmedia took the FULL hit ensuring all affiliates were paid the full amount for those months.
"I regret to inform you that this time round Deckmedia will not be able to take these loses from Echeck and those affiliates who have earnings from Echeck deposits will have those earnings deducted. This will take place on the 31st March."
